SMG’S ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

SMG has adopted this environmental policy, which takes into account its nature as a service company that primarily performs office-based activities and does not handle raw materials or finished products.

• Mobility and travel:SMG staff and suppliers travelling for work prioritise the use of public transport. Company and private cars are only used when public transport is inadequate or cannot ensure that required schedules can be met.
• Energy consumption:SMG’s offices are fitted with energy-efficient lighting and heating systems. SMG has insulated its offices in accordance with applicable regulations. SMG staff receive regular training on the efficient use of the cooling and heating systems in company premises to reduce waste.
• Printer toner and ink cartridges:SMG’s toner and ink cartridges are either reconditioned or disposed of by approved suppliers in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Paper:SMG staff are regularly reminded of the need to minimise printing on paper. To this end, the company uses a document management software that enables the archiving of digital documents and reduces the need for a paper-based archive. Promotional materials are printed by professional printing companies using FSC-certified paper.
• Detergents and cleaning products:SMG employs office cleaning companies that use eco-friendly products.
