What does each quality level offer?
Quality level : PREMIUM
- The work is carried out by a team of experienced professional linguists, supported by subject matter experts (depending on the subject matter, we use people with direct experience in the field, such as lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc.).
- We employ native speakers with a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree and subject texts to thorough ISO 17.100-certified revision to check for syntax, vocabulary, comprehension and completeness, followed by content quality control by the project manager.
- The team can provide the client with translator’s notes on any cultural differences found in the text and any particular aspects identified through terminology research, making the translation a reasoned, explanatory translation.
- Glossaries on the main translated texts, always up-to date and available for sharing on SMGDesk.
- Terminology research applying the full SMG Terminology Research Protocol.
- Premium Translations are given absolute priority.
Quality level : ADVANCED
- The work is carried out by professional linguists.
- We employ native speakers with a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree and subject texts to thorough ISO 17.100-certified revision to check for syntax, vocabulary, comprehension and completeness, followed by content quality control by the project manager.
- The linguists can provide the client with translator’s notes on any cultural differences found in the text and any particular aspects identified through terminology research, making the translation a reasoned, explanatory translation.
- Glossaries on the main translated texts, always up-to date and available for sharing on SMGDesk.
- Terminology research applying the entire SMG Terminology Research Protocol, excluding validation by subject area specialists.
Quality level : BASIC
- The work is carried out by professional linguists.
- We employ staff with a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree and subject texts to content quality control by the project manager.
